The nearest tube station to the Barnsbury Centre is
Highbury and Islington (5 mins walk) which is on the
Victoria line. The North London Line (overground) also
stops here.
Parking is not available at the Barnsbury Complex
and is 'residents only' in the surrounding
streets so you are advised not to come by car.
Directions from tube station
As you
exit Highbury & Islington tube station
you will see a busy main road with a large, tree covered
roundabout ahead. Turn right (do not cross the road)
then almost immediately turn right again down Highbury
Station Road, alongside The Famous Cock pub.
Continue down Highbury Station Road until the T-junction
with Liverpool Road. Turn left and cross the zebra-crossing
approximately twenty metres ahead. Offord Road is straight
ahead.
Continue down Offord Road, passing Legion Close
on your left, then Arundel Place on your right.
The entrance to The Barnsbury Centre is on your
left - ignore the first pedestrian entrance, and
instead enter through the vehicle entrance which is
a few metres further up on the left. The site reception
entrance is sign-posted on the building on the right.

Car
From the south: take the M1, changing to the M621 at
junction 43. Leave the M621 at junction 2. Turn right
onto the A643, and follow the signs for York then:
(a) at the gyratory system follow the signs for York
onto the inner ring road A58(M). After a mile you come
to a tunnel. Go through it then turn left onto the A660
(b) follow the Skipton signs, until you reach Headingley
Lane. Turn right where you see a large blue sign marked
‘Hinsley Hall’ near the crown of the hill
and drive straight up to the building ahead
From the west: leave the M62 at Junction 27, and follow
the M621 to junction 2, following the signs for York
and then the directions (a) and (b) above.
From the east: leave the M62 at the M1 junction and
drive north towards Leeds. Follow the directions from
the M1 (from the South).
From the north-east: follow the A64 and continue onto
the A64(M) inner ring road. Turn off at the A660, and
follow direction (b) above.
From Skipton (north-west): follow the A660 passing
the Arndale Shopping Centre, through the traffic lights,
and passing the United Reform Church on your left. Follow
the high stone wall on your left, passing the ALBA Tyre
Centre, and Hinsley Hall is the next opening on the
left.
Course participants are welcome to use Hinsley Hall’s
car park.
Public Transport
Taxi: there is a taxi rank outside Leeds railway station.
Bus: from the railway station, turn left, cross City
Square and turn left into Infirmary Street. Catch the
1, 1B, 63B, 93 or 95 from Stand C. Ask for the bus stop
just after the Alba Tyre Centre. When you arrive, cross
the road by the island, and the entrance to Hinsley
Hall is on your right.
Air: Hinsley Hall is approximately 6 miles from the
Leeds/Bradford airport.
