Objectives:
- To consider children’s learning needs and how to include them in mathematical activities
- To consider a number of approaches that support the learning of low-attaining pupils in Key Stage 2

- How to recognise children’s part-conceptions
- How to use problem solving as a way of making maths more accessible to low attaining pupils
- A range of models, images and resources that support children’s learning
- The role of adults who support low-attaining children
